The Department of Environmental Management has permitted people to bring in their domestic pet to Rhode Island's State Parks' (limited to dogs and cats only) campgrounds. But the sole responsibility lies on the owners of the pets to respect the beauty and the hygienic environment of the Parks.

Brenton Point State Park: This Park is situated on Aquidneck Island in Newport which is situated in Rhode Island.
Snake Den State Park: The Snake Den State Park consists of seven cliffs starting from 15 to 35 feet in height. There are granite rocks with some of the cliffs having loose rocks.
Beavertail State Park: This Park is a 153 acres land situated on Conanicut Island in Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island. The Park includes a large patch of grassy fields and long shorelines.
Colt State Park: This Park is of 464 acres on the Poppasquash Neck and the nearby towns are; Rhode Island and Bristol. This Park includes a public boat ramp, picnic groves, trails, an open air Chapel by the sea and observation tower.
East Bay Bike Path State Park: This Park is 14.5 mile trial from Providence to Bristol, while passing the shorelines of Naragansett Bay through the towns of Barrington and Warren.
