Roger Williams National Memorials is situated on an area of 5 acres. This famous park of Rhode Island was established in the year 1965. The park has its location in the College Hill Historic District of Providence, Rhodes Island. The memorial was established to commemorate the august memory of Roger Williams who came here to became the co-founder of the colony of Rhodes Island. Rhodes left Massachusetts for his rebellious mentality which has invoked the wrath of the administration of Massachusetts.
